 Arik Levy was born in Tel-Aviv in 1963. At the age of 27 he left his graphic design studio and the surfboard shop and came to Europe. In 1991 Arik graduated from the Art Center Europe in Switzerland where he studied Industrial Design. After winning the Seiko Epson Inc. competition, Arik started his career as a professional designer and participated in several design exhibitions in Japan. After returning to Europe, Arik introduced his ideas and innovative concepts to contemporary design theatres around the world. Arik develops projects in industrial, interior and graphic design for the European and international market. Thanks to his technical skills and creativity, Arik’s work deals with a variety of subjects and disciplines from product development, lighting design and corporate identity to packaging, point of purchase design, signage, exhibition, interior and set design. Among others, Arik has cooperated with: Vitra, Desalto, Ligne-Roset, Gaia&Gino, Baccarat, Baleri Italia, Serranlunga, Swedese. “Fire reminds me of family, warmth, cosiness but also of attraction.
